Pb_'s Ht 16 Days Post-op

Recommended Posts

I tried to add these onto the end of my first HT post but I received an error message saying I had too many pictures

so here are the 16 day post-op update pics:

16 Day Update - the following pictures were taken 3.12.2005

New hairline and grafts:

(The bridge area behind the front 1/3 transplanted area was also shaved - I can't actually see where the transplanted hairs and regrown bridge hairs meet, the angle of the transplanted hairs match perfectly and so does the density - I'm very pleased with this :D )

Close up of grafts:

View from the back - not a lot of improvement, if any :D

(not so pleased about this :D )

View of scar at the back:

Close up of scar, side:

The healing process 0, 5, 10 and 16 days:

Hi Bill,

Any chance you could move the pictures onto the Stop Hair Loss Now server and join my two HT posts into one gallery?

Looking clean and healthy bud!

The scar looks very healthyalso, and thin!

The slight redness left will gradually dilute out of the scar. Congrats mate - remember you are only 16 days post op - try not scrutinize over it as you've got a period of waiting now until the show start! :D

Yeah, the scar looks like it will almost disappear (that close up is also magnified - as you can see from the size of my thumb :D ). I used some stuff on my hair that irritated the scar and made it red, it wasn't that red a few days ago, hopefully it will calm down again soon.

Thanks to you I got the job done properly first time :D ...well thanks to Dr Feller really but wouldn't have known about him if it wasn't for you.

Hi PB

Page as requested-

http://www.stophairlossnow.co.uk/PBs-Hair-Transplant.htm

Let me know if you want anything changed at all, no problems to alter anything.

Bill

Thanks Bill! Great job, hope it wasn't too much trouble. Could it be pinned so that it can be found easily? If that's OK with you of course... no big deal if it's not something you want pinned on your site.

looking awesome..you defo went with the right Dr! :)

Yeah, after seeing some of the butcherings that go on that can literally ruin your life, the choice of doctor is the most important part of it all.

That looks really nice! Doesent appear that you had shed any grafts at 16 days post-op.

Thanks. Yeah, I have decided to hang on to them :) How many days after did you start shedding?

Hope you hold on to as many as poss mate!! :)

The edges in the recessions are really growing like proper hair (and I was completely bald in that area so it's not old hair) - the front isn't growing in the same way. And my scalp isn't numb... Dr Feller said that it would take 3 months for sensation to return. I missed out on the swollen face too, should I ask for a refund?

I noticed some shed at about 6-7 days, however I held onto most of my grafts for about 3 weeks I think.

Hmmm... and I'm in week 3 now... :) Probably find a load of grafts on my pillow in the morning. Did you hang on to any of them?

19 days post-op: My new hair is shedding on one side :D Haven't actually seen any hair come out but it's not there any more on the right side in the corner of my temple. The other side, in the same area, is just getting thicker.

I had some tufts of hair in the front 1/3 but the whole front 1/3 was shaved and filled with grafts and I'm wondering if that (shaved) hair will grow again or not whilst the grafts are in their dormant stage. If it does grow back things won't be so bad and I'll be able to get rid off the cap in a few weeks but if the whole front 1/3 sheds, I'm going to look like a clown for months until the transplanted grafts grow. I just wondered if having the whole area filled with grafts usually destroys any hair producing follicles that were in the area (so yes, I am talking about shock loss I suppose...).

Do you have any photos you could email me (I won't post them here ;) )?

My understanding is that the original hair in the recipient area will continue to grow at its normal rate unless effective by shockloss. This depends on the strength of that exsisting hair. If you exsisting hair is effected by shock then this will grow back after 3 months or so but if not effected it will just grow straight away.. its just had a hair cut ;)

unfortuantely i have no pics to show as i don't have a camera ;) if i did i'm not to keen on showing my pics anyway
