j tee 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2008 I have been on Fin and nizoral for 5 months now and I believe my hairloss has slowed down quite a lot. I am only reseeding at the front, what product should I try next to get re-growth at the front? http://stophairlossnow.ipbhost.com/index.p...pe=post&id=2936

joe101 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 does nizoral really work? if so how its ment for dandruft isn't it?? It's been shown in some men to increase hair growth. whether it definetely works or not is unclear.
j tee 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 thanks Pondle, would i have to be on Minoxidil forever to keep the results if any as with Fin? How much is this likely to cost me?
Pondle 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2008 Yes, if you stop using either minoxidil or finasteride then you'll lose all of the hair you've gained or saved by using the treatments, generally within 12 months of stopping. There's no cure for baldness, that's why you have to keep treating it constantly. Generic versions of minoxidil are now available, so it's fairly cheap. Expect to pay about £60 for a year's supply, but much more if you opt for the 'original' Regaine brand.
