  1. Hi there, I got your mail. Unfortunately your loss is very aggressive and i doubt meds will help. You are defo not eligible for a HT due to the fact your donor supply appears to be effective by DHT too. Sorry mate!

  3. Spexhair SMP into scar with Beauty Medical in Milan 19th July 2012 Hi Guys, I returned late last night back from Milan after my SMP ( Scalp Micro Pigmentation ) session with Beauty Medical in Milan. The session went very well indeed and in my opinion the outcome has exceeded my expectations so far. So it's all good so far! The session took literally 30 minutes and was completely painless. I have recieved many emails already, with questions in order to gain info and my personal opinion on this. Please give me time i'll get back to you all independently, however i just wanted to touch base publically and inform interested people viewing my previous topic,Spex previous topic and announcement on his SMP at Beauty Medical, Milan My SMP session in Milan was a great success so far and i'm very happy i went ahead with it, as right now, i can't see/find my scar and even my wife who was well informed on my scar can't find it even under close inspection. My intension to have SMP with Milena at Beauty Medical has created an unprecedented amount of interest and i've even had a journalist call me on the topic. Also Spencer Kobren kindly called in via Skpe (at midnight his time in LA) to interview and watch me have the entire SMP session from start to finish and interviewed Milena too, which he will hopefully publish in due course. For guys out there interested in the outcome so far with my SMP into my scar.. - i'm very happy so far with the results and as mentioned better than i though it would be. How long the result will stay we will have to wait and see. ( Hopefully 2 years) The natural ink used in only temporary, not permanent. I have a video at different stages of the process coming shortly but meanwhile see pictures taken before and after below. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have here and i will hopefully be able to answer a lot of them as i've personally learnt a great deal about Beauty Medicals technique and more than happy to help! Special thanks to Milena, George and Manuel at BeautyMedical for their incredible work, hospitality and for making this incredible and very unique technique available to us hair loss sufferers!! 4. Cheers Bill, My hair is great, just me scaring that still causes me some concern. Hopefully addressing it this way with Milena in Milan will help
  5. Spex goes for SMP into scar 19th July 2012 Guys, I was in Milan last week seeing a friends and based on a lot of discussion of late and conversations with various patients i arranged to call in at "Beauty Medical" for the day, who have been creating discussion regarding their own version of micro/trico pigmentation. Their technique fades over the course of approx 2 years. http://www.beautymedical.it/ I was very impressed indeed with their facility, approach and results. I watched 4 sessions being performed and met and talked with previous patients too ( went out for lunch with one). It’s very natural looking, colour-matched, and a very refined technique. It's not expensive either in my opinion and very quick, we even did a small test patch into my old Bosley scar. The test was done to gauge things for my return on the 19th July where I plan to address the entire scar and surrounding border areas. One of the patients having the technique performed had previously had FUE (not great work and large size extraction tools used 1.2 mm+ as an estimate, performed in Italy 2006 ) and the SMP technique was performed into various scars in the donor area and on the entire top in approx 1hr - Remarkable the difference IMMEDIATELY. It obviously didn't eliminate the scars and their appearance completely however WOW did is soften it and minimize the scaring – Yep! This technique in my opinion is a real option to assist HT’s and can certainly help dilute and minimise existing scaring, strip and FUE. Together I see this being a powerful combo. One I intend to try myself soon. I will aim to gather further info to inevitable questions and possibly you can list any you have below and I will be sure to get them answered when I am there at BM on the 19th. The ink used is natural product and fades over time ( approx 2 years) so not permanent, this appeals to me to be honest. Milena the owner of Beauty Medical has refined this technique and it’s her own technique and she is such a lovely lady, very compassionate and caring. I intend to add to this topic with pictures of my initial visit last week in due course when I can get time and happy to answer any questions here to help in the meantime. I aim to address and fill the entire Bosley scar area that still causes me concern and the surrounding areas above and below the scar line with this technique to enable a blend and will document it in order to help others. I personally have never felt comfortable with other pigmentation techniques and companies - I have seen a number of questionable results in person over the years whilst meeting patients and to me those techniques are inferior and look highly unnatural and basically various sized blue dots. It’s these pigmentation methods and their results that have always deterred me from doing it myself previously, however after seeing this recent BM technique in Italy with my own eyes there is a very realistic option to help me and my scar and hopefully it can help many others. Other doctors have remarked on BM technique it positively and my man Jotronic also has had the pleasure of meeting Milena and her patients whilst in Italy last time he was over and only had positive things to report. I have lived with my Bosley scar for over 10 years now and in fairness its not that bad, I know this compared to some, however if I can help minimiise it further safely - I will! I had 4 strip surgeries by Bosley, everytime the same scar was removed, causing the scar to stretch. I feel after already putting FUE into the scar the results have been great and really helped me address the worse areas, yet for me now SMP via the right technique seems like the most realistic option to enable me to further dilute my scar down and in turn enable me more confidence on shorter grade hair cuts as I do not want to waste previous donor hair into the scar further and for me BHT is too inconsistent. I also intend to with the use of this technique go in and around the scar area ( the boarder areas ) which in certain parts is thin and patchy due to all the trauma of the 4 previous strip sessions at Bosley. My scalp has had some hammer over the years – that’s for sure. I want to go in pursuit of the “next level” and attempt to minimise my old Bosley scar further. I’m in pursuit as are many of us to achieve the best result possible for myself. Hopefully others can learn from my experience too. I will certainly pay forward my findings and opinion moving forward. This may work, it may not. I will report my findings and document to help regardless. I look forward to venturing forward with this. Pic of Milena and I below last week at her office in Milan. I’m planning on hitting the scar 19th July - Wish me luck!! 6. Transplanted hair is DHT resistant. An ethical surgeon might well not HT into both areas now and might focus on the priority area - the front. Its a good idea to stabilise loss via treatments prior to venturing down the HT road. Best Spex
  7. Hi , Unfortunately people have difficulty registering - Hopefully bill can look into it.

  13. Guys, Dr Feller is an incredibly generous and kind man as many already know, but this isn't about generosity or kindness. He also doesn't give into threats, blackmail or extortion simply to avoid confrontation online. This topic will actually only help educate others just as other very similar topics have done in the past which obviously missed this poster on his research via the forums. However allow me to clarify and clear up any confusion caused by the poster here and add information along with facts to help, which have conveniently been left out so far... This patient paid his deposit with on concerns or questions in August 2008 for the specific surgery date 16th January 2009 for a day FUE session. It states very clearly deposits are non-refundable on Dr Fellers web site in bold text and other clinics website for that matter. I just dealt with a patient from another very reputable clinic who's visa was not passed in time and the deposit was not refunded. It is not just Feller Medical who do not refund deposits. It is stated on Dr Fellers site along side the pricing structure which all patients view. : All patients who want to schedule a procedure will pay a $2,500 non-refundable deposit toward their surgery. Costs - Hair Transplants New York / New Jersey, Long Island and International This is unfortunate how Bobilero of all people has suddenly turned on me in an instant ( especially in another topic he wrote) after all my ongoing help and hard work. I am shocked that he is now trying to make me out to be the bad guy and shift the blame despite ALL the help i have tried to offer him personally over the last 4 years with all the emails, phone calls, we even met up 4 years ago. He put his $1500 ( 750 pounds at the time ) deposit down of HIS own accord 4 years ago. Sometimes it's a case of simply accepting responsibility rather than trying to shift the blame. Deposits are non refundable and run a search here and on the forums where ALL your research was supposedly done as other Doctors have had similar attacking topics written about them too regarding non refundable deposits. The patient cancelled his original surgery date due to financial reasons supposedly after securing a date. He scheduled specifically for January 16th 2009 as you know back in August 2008. On cancelling it never once asked for his deposit back. 4 years on however since he placed his deposit he very recently wanted to rebook surgery with Dr Feller. Subject: Re: Update From: xxxx Date: Tue, 24 Jan 2012 15:52:26 +0000 To: spexhair@hotmail.co.uk Hi mate. How are you? Looks like I'm sorted now finance wise to crack on with the op with the doc! Suppose we need to look at dates. I'm thinking September. Let me know mate and we can go from there. Cheers XXX Despite Dr Fellers recommendation of strip surgery and not FUE due to the demand , the patient only wanted FUE still. Attempts were made successfully to move his deposit over to surgery with Dr Lindsey after a lengthy phone conversation we had to try help him out, as HE decided he only wanted FUE and Dr Lindsey was happy to help you via FUE over a 2 day session and costs would be loweer. The moving of the deposit was made possible for him from Dr Feller to Dr Lindsey even though the $1500 deposit ( 750 pounds) was made 4 years ago. After this was all arranged for him by myself at great length and it had been agreed by the Docs. HE then soon after, self diagnosed he was not an eligible candidate at this point.... Not by either a Dr Feller or Dr Lindsey. We feel he basically backed out when it became a reality. His deposit is not lost and on hold as it has been for the last 4 years if he wanted to still have surgery in the future and he knows this. I tried very much to help Bob obtain his deposit back as he knows after HE personally decided HT surgery was not for him. He conveniently twists it as if he was deceived all along through the process...,NOT the case, which he knows wasn't the case at all. He is clearly just bitter now that after 4 years after paying his deposit and wants it back and pissed off because he says he didnt know it was non refundable, even though its stated on the website clearly and there are topics discussed on the forums similar, where he did all his research even. The patient was aware Dr Feller has been away from the office a great deal of late for personal reasons disclosed to him privately hence the lack of response to his emails and calls to the office. Boberlio should have come down to see Dr Feller in London or Dublin in person on his recent trip and discussed this together face to face as i'm confident he would have helped for sure as i know, or thought, you are a decent guy... It is a real shame you have resorted to this in order to attack Dr Feller and me. Non the less he has personally emailed me informing me he now intends to attack us online on every forum possible and clearly going to try make Dr Feller pay hey. . . Wonders will never cease. I hope if he decides still to go on your forum attack rampage which you disclosed to me in a recent email you at least include ALL the facts above. Despite not meeting Dr Feller to chat in person recently on his UK visit. You should seriously consider trying to meet Dr Feller in person to discuss this privately further and talk face to face as he really is not an unreasonable man, far from it, and deep down you know only too well as you have read many favourable testimonials regarding his immense generosity and were only too keen previously to have surgery with him only recently after the 4 years you have been researching HT's. He is back over in the UK in February. Email the office directly if you want information as i'm no longer putting myself forward offering you my time and energy to try help only to be stabbed in the back. All the very best anyway genuinely. Spence

  15. Hard sell?! ..... Yeah really pushed you into that one.... I'm notorious for the hard sell, have been for years.. It states very clearly deposits are non-refundable on Dr Fellers web site in bold text and other clinics website for that matter. You put your deposit down of your own accord 4 years ago. Where was the HARD sell..?!??? Sometimes it's a case of accepting responsibility rather than trying to shift the blame. 16. Dr Feller and Spex in Irish Business Article: Dr Feller recently performed surgery on a high profile businessman form Ireland who is also documenting the entire procedure start to finish with a production team for his own business purposes as is a high profile hairdresser. He intends to announce his story in an Irish news paper in the not too distant future however please see attached a brief article written by the journalist he invited with him to NY to document the entire process. The article falls short on a few things as the journalist was hit with information overload on the day. See Jpegs from print screen as PDF will not upload

  19. Guys, Hopefully many of you know of me already as i've been around a while. A few things have happened to me over the last several months regarding getting info out there on a larger platform rather than just in the hair loss message forums, which has enabled me to get my hair loss mentor role mentioned within a few different circles. Morgan Spurlock, who i met recently kindly put my information forward to a TV production company in the UK who produce his show (along with other shows such as 'Britains Next Top Model' ) Well, I have recently met with them and and had a good in depth discussion and the long/short of it is they want to make a serious informative piece on HT's and the industry generally. So therefore i am reaching out to any guys here who might be willing to help. Is there anyone who is a repair patient or upcoming repair patient who would be willing to talk on camera about their experiences, physically and emotionally. Also are there any patients about to embark on the HT journey/process who would be prepared to speak on camera and be interviewed throughout the process ie. Pre op, 6 months post op, 12 months post op. I intend to be part of the documentary too. If you are able to help and willing to speak on camera please send me an email at: support@spexhair.com as they ideally require a variety of patients to help with their documentary This applies to anyone regardless of location around the world. If you are willing to be part of a HT education documentary please drop me a line ASAP. Best Regards, Spencer (Spex)
