hi first time poster btw.

im 27 and been losing my hair since i was twenty, rececded in the temple areas now pretty bad, got use to that now, now its the turn of mid scalp and ever so slighty in the crown areas, ( scary shit ).

used regaine on and off over the years dont think mush of it, been conned at the laser places, robbing gits, waste of time 2, plus i dont fancy tape and a wig, like graham gooch rather bic than that.

i know about propecia tryed it a few times not for long though, defo lowered my sex drive, which i suppose u can counter act with other tabs, but my wife says i was snappy on them, so i came off them only after a few weeks, im keen to give propecia another go but my wife is pregnant with twin girls so the last thing i wanna do is hurt her or the babies ( i know its just male fetus ) but it would be putting my hair above everything and that isnt right.

ive always been a little unsure regarding the female isssue and propecia, can u have sex safely with a preg woman? saw my doc and they said dont take the risk although i dont believe they really new.

saw palletto intrests me just wondered what every1 thought, another reason is my wife isnt keen on me takin tabs she reckons im different on them although im not sure, seems an easy way to blame tabs if we are stressed, plus i think she is keen for me to accept the ageing process.

i cant though not yet, the battle, yet it may be a losing one continues.

I agree with PB, an HT sounds like a good bet!

Sorry to hear you wasted money at AHS. Glad you didn't go down their so called 'strand by strand' route though. I've seen a picture on another site showing a £3000 wig they produced. It's shocking.

Personally speaking, i'm going for an HT and will probably not use meds of any kind.
