Hi

I'm 22 years old, started losing my hair at ~20 years. Been using minoxidil (5%) for a year. It caused some regrowth at first, but now its efficacy seems reduced, so i'm looking into using another product.

I get my minoxidil from ebay, where it's really cheap and reliable (i recommend a guy called spafford_inc) - just paid £60.99 for a year's supply - that's £5 a month!

I was looking for propecia on ebay, but nobody seems to be selling it - anyone know why? is it because it's a prescription drug? but so is minoxidil :S

I chanced upon procerin on ebay, and it seems to be VERY popular!!!! I've read these forums, and Spex seems to know his stuff - but he seems to consider procerin as a 'rip-off'..... I'm not convinced. Why are so many people selling it on ebay, and why are so many people buying it?

Some input from Spex or anyone else would be greatly appreciated tongue.gif

ps: avoid the ********* Tricological centre - those guys are rip-offs! their agents know less about hair-loss than they let on. And I don't believe they offerend me minoxidil and propecia at £90 a month!

bahh, been doin a little reading on procerin..... seems it's just one of those stupid 'herbal' remedies

'all natural ingredients'..... always aimed at stupid people who think non-natural products are 'bad' for the body.

still kinda baffled at why it's so popular on ebay sad.gif

duno if i shud go for propecia instead..... or eucapil - but that's so expensive sad.gif

£60 is the going rate for a years supply and I'll be doing the same as you Snow_Predator.

As far as I know (might be wrong here) Minoxodil, Finesteride and Dutasteride are the only FDA approved treatments for hair loss. OK, your not guaranteed results but this has got to be the starting point. So hopefully it shouldn't be a complete waste of time and money unlike all the other products that have not been proved effective over the last 15 -25 years.
