Hi guys- im a 19yr old living in the UK. I discovered m hair was getting very thin and i was losing hair quite rapidly. I googled the topic and discovered the ********* Hair Clinic . At the moment i am on propecia one tablet per day and 12.5% Minoxidil + Azelaic Acid. I am paying about 350 Pounds per quarter (prob equivalent to 680 dollars), i also get treatment monthly at the clinic. I have my scalp washed, ultra violet put on it, infra red, steam wash and then shampooed. I have also been given this shampoo by the clinic that is their own make. So far its been two months on propecia and 6 weeks on minoxidil- so far i cant see any difference, but its too soon.

How much do ou have to pay for your minoxidil and propecia??

however ive been on this site and started reading about nizoral- is this really as good as it sounds?

I also found this- http://www.procerin.com/index.htm Procerin- what do you guys think? Any thoughts would be welcome.

cheers

Hi,
I started using Procerin a couple of months ago as I got my order wrong and ended up buying procerin instead of propecia. I've been also taking MSM (Increases blood flow), zinc tablets, minidoxil and Nizoral (once a week). Whilst I've been using the procerin, zinx, msm and nizoral for only two months, my girlfriend claims my hair is getting a lot thicker (although I'm not convinced). She said she is able to see my head from different angles than I do and there's definately an improvement. So far as I know there is no proven reports for the procerin, and the best one to go for is the Proscar (although it should be cut into 5 pieces according to Specs - who knows his stuff!). From all the reports I've seen it's all about time and no overnight results will occur.

Try not to worry too much!

Results will not come overnight it takes several months to see a significant difference and a good way to monitor this is through photos.

With all due respect the clinic that you go to are reknowned for ripping vunerable people off.

Minoxodil 5% can be obtained from a number of sources - read these boards!
Approx £25 - £30 for a 4 month supply!

Proscar/Propecia can be obtained via a number of sources also - read these boards!
Proscar (5mg Propecia) £120 - 15 month supply

Procerin - in my experience - a complete rip off!

Nizoral is a good DHT inhibitor - you can aquire this from boots - read these boards!

I think its best you continue to research and you will realise that the clinic you are recieving treatment at is only interested in your money - I too started losing my hair young and i too was very vunerable and lost a great deal of money to organisations that preyed on that vunerability.

You are in a good place here to obtain facts and info about hair !

ah thats ok then, my 3 month payment is near and end so i'll just not renew it.

thanks for all the advice guys! very appreciated. im sorry i didnt read these boards before i asked- i was browsing late and had to get up at 5am this morning to get here for my work experience.

to be honest im probably at the least bald stage out of everyone- people cant tell im going bald unless you're an expert. but even if i wasnt- i have always had very thin hair and i think generally less hair follicles. Im going to re-buy the cheaper orders of propecia, minixodil and that shampoo- i presume propecia is the same as Proscar....

im so happy because being a student meeting their payments was starting to worry me more than my potential hair loss! lol

is there a thread that contains like "cheapest places to buy-" as obviously if one of you can find a website cheaper than most- the others arent then going to spend more on a different website.
