The patient information leaflet, which you can look up on the Electronic Medicines Compendium, states that ‘Propecia’ does not affect hair on other parts of the body. However, there are contrary anecdotes which some doctors take seriously.

I'd have thought that inhibiting DHT would if anything cause less bodyhair to grow.

I can say with certainty that finasteride has caused me to lose a lot of body hair. It's one of the positive side effects as far as i'm concerned.

My brother saw me shirtless a while ago and said 'what the hell happened to all your body hair?!'. He jokingly said he might order himself some fin (although by the look of his mop he's never gonna need it) biggrin.gif

but body hair is what makes us men isn't it? tongue.gif

that's a really useful site - I didn't know it existed. Recently got some Valium from the chemist but they forgot to include an information leaflet with it, so I looked it up on that site.

warts don't usually disappear by themselves so perhaps it was the Fin - interesting

Warts do often clear up by themselves. They are caused by infection with the human papilloma virus (HPV). Finasteride is not an anti-vital drug and has absolutely nothing to do with their cause or treatment.
