Hi all,
just repeating my self from my other thread.
Anyone heard of Amidren... supposed to stop Andropause "male menopause", if there is such a thing. Have been taking for about 9 months but not really noticed anything changing. I started a natural vitimin at the same time and do think I feel better and seem to have more energy but think that is down to the vits as I know I have a bad diet !!
Anyway, was just reading the full info on it and does mention something about hairloss but also that none of these facts have been clinicly proven..
Comments anyone ??
Cheers all

I found the list of ingredients online. The main ingredient seems to be the herb
Tribulus terrestris. This had no effect on strength or body composition when administered to groups of athletes:

Saw Palmetto in the ingredients list. This is often used in products that claim to offer 'drug-free' treatment for hair loss and prostate enlargement. Unfortunately, it's also useless:
http://content.nejm.org/cgi/content/abstract/354/6/557http://www.hairlosstalk.com/newsletter/article230.htmIngredients: Amidren Hormonal Support Complex: Tribulus Terrestris (Standardized to 45% Furastanol Saponins) (Stem and Dried Fruit), Fenugreek 4:1 Extract (Seed), Longjack 20:1 Extract (Root) (Eurycoma Longifolia Jack), Chrysin, Kudzu Root (Pueraria Lobota) Extract (40% Isoflavones), DIM (Diindolymethane), Red Clover Extract (40% Isoflavones), Avena Sativa 10:1 Extract (Aerial Parts), Zinc (as Zinc Aspartate), Pygeum Africanum Extract (25% Total Sterol) (Bark), Stinging Nettle Leaf 4:1 Extract, Beta Sitosterol, Saw Palmetto Berry Extract (90% Total Sterols & Free Fatty Acids) and Bioperine (Black Pepper Extract). Thanks Pondle... nice info..
Think I will stop buying, I have not been taking it as any form of "hair help" just as a supplement along with Vits I started taking as I know I have a bad diet... work 24/7 and eat out of my microwave !!
Cheers again..
