Just a question, are any guys in here that are nrwd 4.5 - 5 taking the big three, fin, minox and nizoral. If so, how long for and what differences have you seen???? and in what period of time. Thanks mates.

Dont worry JayJay, you didnt
I mean anyone who are at norwood 4.5 to 5, you know, receeding at temples and a bit of a Zidane patch going on on the crown, i thought it was bald but I recently shaved my head, zero all over and when running my hand over it it is still a bit bristly(is that a word?) Anyway, jsut wondering if minox fin and niz can bring it back so that it was looking like it was only starting to thin out, i.e. maybe norwood 2.5 or 3, if you still have no idea what i am talking about PM me and i'll send some pics, ok?

the big 3 is the best option. they include minoxidil(regaine), nizoral shampoo and proscar/propecia. i been using proscar for about a month and a half and it has slowed my hair loss. the big 3 help with hair loss on the crown rather then the temples. as i say im using it at the big 3 at the mo and you can get nizoral and regaine in the shops but proscar is only available via prescription. if you talk to specs he was the one that put me in touch with his gp, as my doc didn’t care about my hair loss. proscar is a 5mg finasteride tablet which i brake up into 5ths and take 1/5th a day. proscar is the same as propecia but with propecia its only 1mg so proscar works out a lot cheaper. there is a read up on this site about proscar/propecia and will go more in depth.

Thanks a million kid, I have been in touch with Specs, I am just a bit concerned re the finasteride as my partner and I are trying for a baby and as she is older than me the chances of conception are a lot slilmmer than a young couple so I really dont want to add to the risk, I know the fin/propecia can cause birth defects, so you can see where i am coming from.

i wont lie there are risks using proscar, its the same with any drug. the best bet is to speak to specs gp he is a real help and will be more then happy to answer any questions you have.
