My best friend had Thyroid cancer last year - she is now completely cancer free- but one of the side effects, that no one told her about, with her medication is hair loss if she doesn't take it regularly, which she hasn't done .. therefore her hair is now fallingout.. Does anyone have any suggestions for her.. the doc informed her that her medication will be increased for a short time, but it could take up to 3 months for her hair to stop falling out.. by then she could be bald.
