Hi,

I've been taking 1mg Finasteride for over two months now and I have yet to see any noticable difference or slow down in my hair loss. I have been losing hair a the front and temples regions and was told that finasteride would at least stop the hair loss. However, this has not happened.

How long will have to wait to see an improvement?

secondly, is there any way I can determine how much DHT is in my system and therefore tailor the amount of prosar/finasteride that I require.

Thanks.

Hi,

It will take at least 3 months and upto a year before you start to see any effects.

You will not see anything for a number of months - hair grows in 3/4 month cycles

I took 2 years to move o.5 cm of hairline foreward for my frontal and side temples using the naturalis topical. Patience and Good luck on your journey with fin. You will need it.

Well, different person response differently to the topical. We are talking about frontal and side temples which are the most difficult area to stimulate regrowth. These are permanent fixture on the my head. If will not DROP off if I stop the topical the next day. This is different from taking med where if you stopped the hairloss will accelerate.

Lance,

What is Naturalis - i.e. what is its active ingredients. Secondly, have you any trial results for it? Sorry, if it sounds like I am doubting you but I don't want to waste money on something that won't work - it happened to me enough with my Trichologist.

Guys, I'll post some pics when I get broadband 'net in.

Thanks for the replies.

It's just another hair scam rolleyes.gif , forget it. The active ingredients will no doubt be some "secret" potion (ie. watered down minoxidil).

I think I'll buy some cheap minoxidil, water it down and re-bottle it too and sell it to suckers for 1000% profit... what shall I call it... Dr PB's Magical Hair Growth Formula laugh.gif

scam, don't waste your money or time on it.

Lets get this straight there is no miracle cure.
All these lotions/sprays, creams... ect are just a waste of time. If any of them actualy produced results the manufacturers would literaly make £ billions the products would get real Tv marketing and the product names would be as recognizable as coca cola or Mcdonalds. Surgery would also become obselete.
Nothing that you stick on your head will make your hair grow ! Hair grows from the follicles beneath the skin. Hairloss is genetic and caused by hormones in your bloodstream. Scam products like this have been around for centuries and always will be while men are worried about hairloss. The more desperate people are the more easily exploited they are. The only proven scientific breakthrough to combat hairloss has come from the use of D.H.T inhibiters finesteride and dutesteride.
The fact is if you are losing your hair their is little that you can do to halt it and practicly nothing that can be done to regrow it. Every guy on this forum will no doubt have wasted their money on a few of these scams at some time and its still happening over and over again rolleyes.gif .
