Has anyone here heard anything about the Boots Pharmacy hair retention programme? my mum brought a leaflet home today.
Does anyone know what its about? it clams to provide an 'effective hair retention medicine' which has only been available through clinics. Im guessing its proscar though.

Hi Muckyfinger...

not come across it myself but have seen it asked about several times on this forum, the answer is always the same.... bit of a waste of time as the meds are all available cheaper elsewhere..

from info given to me by the "guys that know"... all you need is proscar, nirozal and regaine... the big 3 for MPB at the moment.

Tim is correct

Boots are just making a nice profit from selling this stuff which contains fin or minox.

Better off buying elsewhere.

all you get on this programme is propecia, i've been on it for a few months now and pay £90 every 3 months as opposed to £47 a month from my doctor. i must admit, the pharmacists at boots have been very good and they are very discreet aswell.
