Hi
I am a new user who is just beginning to recede a little at the temples, and the hair is ever so slightly thinner than is was a year or 2 ago. I just wondered if there are any products out there that thicken the hair. I have used the regaine 5% solution for about 6 months aint really noticed too much but I know you have to be patient. I also went to see the boots hair retention team and they recommended using Nourkin, any success stories from using that? Thanks in advance |

i am going to the doctors this monday, do you think they would prescribe propecia? They should offer you Propecia on private prescription, but be warned that many GPs have never heard of it. You can always talk to Spex's GP, Dr Ashcroft - http://www.hairhelp.myzen.co.uk/?q=node/7 |

i went to my doctor about prescribing me propecia which cost me £47 a month and every month i had to take a morning off work to go down there and ask for a repeat prescription in person. i now get mine on the boots retention programme and paying £90 for 3 months.
i have also been using nutrasome thickening shampoo followed by their thickening serum which seems to do a pretty good job to be honest. always looking to try new products though. |

Why don't you contact Spex's GP? You'll save a packet.
