Hi Guys

Just had a look at the website www.propeciahelp.com to find out more info on Propecia etc...

Seems like people all over the world are having a whole heap of issues and problems taking the drug...

Can anyone help me through the fog? As don't want to start taking something that can have a detrimental effect on my health sad.gif

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards
Ian

Yes i have to agree the majority who take it and have no sides far outweigh the number of people who have sides.

this is what pondle wrote .Thanks Bigmac, but you might be confusing the consumer information site www.propecia.com with propeciahelp.com, a forum run by a small number of Merck-bashers. Propeciahelp.com is not a credible NPOV resource for drug information.

Ian, the essential thing to remember about Propeciasideeffects.com is that it's a bunch of guys on the internet. Not everything that you read on the internet is credible, accurate or objective.
http://www.library.jhu.edu/researchhelp/general/evaluating/

Bryan Shelton, one of the best-known and most well-read hairloss forum posters, has said that he's read a huge number of Propecia studies, and never seen anything to corroborate one of the main claims on Propeciasideeffects.com, which is that Propecia causes 'permanent' side effects. The overwhelming majority of doctors also regard the claims made on this site as spurious or unreliable.

For an 'official' list of Propecia side effects see the patient brochure:
http://www.propecia.com
Or download the drug monograph:
http://www.merck.com/product/usa/pi_circul...propecia_pi.pdf
Or talk to a knowledgeable professional like Dr Ashcroft.
