is this better than Minoxidil or basically the same thing?

This contains minoxidil plus aminexil, a compound patented by L'Oreal that's similar to minoxidil, and a bunch of other stuff that may or may not be good for hair.

According to these posts on the Regrowth.com forum, the Spectral DNC formula has changed a couple of times over recent years, and there are both positive and negative anecdotes on how well it works.

Personally I would expect it to be very similar to normal minoxidil - that's just my opinion, though.

I'd say a bit better than minoxidil, but a lot more expensive!
